The Tree Guy®, LLC has been around since 2011, but has been taking care of trees for way longer than that. An ISA certified arborist since 2002, Rog has 38 years of experience taking care of both native and introduced trees in south Georgia.

Rog has a passion for “Specializing In Live Oak Health and Recovery”. He is recognized as the tree guy for evaluating live oaks and understanding their condition while recommending a course of action to maximize chances for a healthy recovery.

Rog worked for 23 years years overseeing the grounds for the five-star Cloister Hotel & Resort, he then served another 9 years working as the arborist for Frederica Township. With Frederica, Rog was responsible for caring for almost 1,000 relocated mature live oaks on a 3,000-acre undeveloped track of land in what is considered the largest tree moving project in history.
